I hope so Kimberly. I just need to work up to facing the sheer amount of work that will be involved in taking up the tiles or adding a screed on top to level it all.

Oh for sure, laying it over the tiles would be much easier. I wish we could do that but our tiles are too uneven.

We actually looked at vinyl click flooring when we went to buy carpet a few weeks ago. It’s incredible how good it looks now. We were advised to consider it over the tiles in the kitchen as the house is so old, we’re not sure what we’re going to find if we take them up. Looking forward to seeing what you go for!

I agree with Kimberly, vinyl flooring has come on in leaps and bounds. And it really is the most practical flooring for a kitchen. Looking forward to seeing your new kitchen floor. x

It really is amazing how far vinyl flooring has come! You would never think any of the floors you showed were vinyl, they just look so close to the real thing. Can’t wait to see what you decide on your kitchen, I’m sure it’ll look fab :) xxx
