Such a good idea for a post! I love my granite work tops, though we didn’t choose them (our kitchen was second hand, and the best decision I ever made, but it meant we couldn’t choose anything)

The problem is I find that the granite marks easily with finger prints and water marks. Obviously because it’s black and shiny, it shows up quite a lot. But I can put hot pans on the surface and not worry about marking it or burning it, which is a bonus.
