We’ve got one of these and found similar things to you I guess. The quality of sound is ok, not the best you’ll get but ok for this kind of thing. We’ve put it in our daughter’s bedroom and she loves listening to 1D through it!

Wow! Just wow, how have I never heard of this? My husband put wireless speakers all over the house and likes to make me jump by putting songs on when I least expect it. I am not sure if my nerves can cope with any more random emissions of sound ha ha. Love this concept though – can’t believe it lasts so long!
